JAMES McAvoy looks ripped as he reveals his new look for a new film role.
The Scottish actor was barely recognisable with his new buzz cut and buff physique as he took a stroll around Philadelphia.
James, 38 , revealed his biceps in a slim-fit blue T-shirt as he walked along the street.
His pecs were visible too as he took a stroll out in the cold air.
The X Men star also ditched his trademark dark locks for his new role in Flick Glass.
He looked as cool as ice with his new shaven head and a pair of dark sunglasses.
The actor brightened up his look with a pair of multi-coloured jogging bottoms.
The white trousers with red, yellow and blue side panelling really suited his strong new body.
His legs looked bulkier than ever before thanks to his dramatic new diet and workout regime for his new movie.
He rocked his casual look complete with black walking boots.
James braved the cold and stepped out without a winter jacket.
He let his fit new body take centre stage last Saturday as he stepped out in Philadelphia during a break from filming new flick Glass.
He was pictured getting into a car afterwards looking more like a tough guy with his bold new look.
Fans are used to James with a thick head of hair, but looked great with his bald look.
Speaking to Mr Porter, the actor admitted he didn’t use any professional trainers, but simply searched for workouts online and upped his calorie intake instead.
However, he admitted he was still ‘chuffed’ with the results, explaining: “I Googled, ‘Good way to put on muscle quick’ then went to a gym and did it myself.
“I also ate between 5,000 and 6,000 calories a day. Instead of eating two eggs in the morning, I’d eat eight.
“Then a snack of chicken breast. Then two chicken breasts for lunch and a steak for another snack. Then two salmon steaks for dinner.”

“In a relatively short space of time, I got bigger. I wasn’t huge but I was quite chuffed with myself.”
James has been in Pennsylvania filming Glass, which sees him reprise his famous Kevin Wendell Crumb role – a dissociative identity disorder sufferer with no less than 23 different personalities.
All of his personalities feature something dangerous for his captives, and one even takes on a creature known as The Beast.
