Taylor Swift returns to the stage for the first time in 10 months to perform at the Jingle Ball in California

TAYLOR Swift gave her adoring fans an early Christmas present last night after returning to the stage for the first time in ten months.

The 27-year-old star finally broke her near year-long stage absence to headline KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2017 in Los Angeles on Friday night.

Wearing a loose fitting gold glitter top and a pair of tiny black shorts, Taylor oozed sass and style as she blasted through a series of her old hits, with some new ones thrown in for good measure.

Taylor, who has just released her latest studio album Reputation, performed songs from the new record including lead single and diss track, Look What You Made Me Do, and follow-up …Ready For It?

She then gave fans an even bigger surprise by bringing out pal Ed Sheeran for their track End Game – which also features on the album.

The moment came as a rare moment for fans of the pair – who previously duetted on 2013’s Everything Has Changed and had never performed End Game together in public before.

Other songs on the set list included hits Blank Space, Shake it Off and the Fifty Shades Darker track I Don’t Want to Live Forever, which was a duel release with Zayn Malik.

The performance comes after Taylor was shockingly snubbed at the Grammys – earning only two nominations for collaborative tracks and not for her Reputation releases.

The album missed the September 30th deadline, but her singles Look What You Made Me Do and Ready For It? were both eligible –  and failed to pick up any nominations.

It comes after the Sun revealed that Taylor looked likely to be snubbed after infuriating key figures in the industry including members of the Grammys jury.

An industry insider revealed: “A lot of people on the voting committee are not liking Reputation at all.

“Taylor wants to win as many awards as possible but has rubbed so many people up the wrong way in the last couple of years.

“A lot of the jury members have worked with Katy, Calvin and Kanye so when Taylor has tried to humiliate them, it has left a bad taste.

“Ultimately she may pay for that when it comes to winning awards.”
